Ephemeron is a sculpture of a newsstand made out  of marble and metal, placed next to a kiosk in Porto Heli. Keeping in mind who would be the audience of this piece, I wanted to create something that could already be there and used by anyone, regardless of their relationship with art.
The title comes from the Greek word for newspapers "ephimerida", which includes the meaning of the ephemeral etymologically, a theme that characerises both news, and art.
Ironically enough, the sculpture was vandalised and destroyed and has not been replaced to this day.
For me personally, there is an extra layer of meaning in this piece.Porto Heli has al ways been the place I spent my summers in, and the reason we would go into the village would be to get news papers and magazines. Because of this the sculpture is a marble "tomb" of my childhood.
